Oriscant 125mm Multiple-Launch-Projectile-System

(Legacy Content)
Building upon the outdated Multiple-Launch-Rocket-Systems - or MLRS - of the past, the Multiple-Launch-Projectile-System - or MLPS - is a P.U.L.S.E Weapon system devised as an artillery variant meant to serve alongside and support other common forms of artillery, such as the Oriscar 200mm Artillery Cannon or the Barrage 80mm mortar. It makes use of anywhere from six to twelve projectile tubes in order to launch its many projectiles in numerous firing patterns ranging from single target shots, to area saturation, to all-fire. As a result of this, the MLPS has no set firing rate, though each tube takes some time to refill, approximately twenty seconds. As a P.U.L.S.E Weapon, the Oriscant is about five times as damaging as a standard projectile weapon of the same caliber, capable of piercing heavily armored, steel-hulled vehicles, and even Veluvium armor if given enough time to focus on a single point on the armor. However, as with nearly all P.U.L.S.E.-based weaponry, its effects are either reduced or negated entirely by P.U.L.S.E Energy Shielding, as the projectiles are the result of the P.U.L.S.E Liquid's energetic reaction.

As with every writing endeavor, I would deeply appreciate constructive feedback, be it in the form of grammar corrections, naming ideas (which I have the most trouble with), or general questions or feedback about the world or anything within it. I thank you for your dedication of time to reading this article.
