Aloreans return to and retake the surface from the demon hordes.

After months of preparation and organization by The Four Great Heroes, the Alorean people - who would claim their name upon retaking the surface - broke through their underworld binds and laid waste to the demons which buried them beneath. The Four Heroes would then set plans to take the lands, purify the world, and seal the beasts they could not kill, thus providing the basis for the modern world of Alore we now observe.
