Aethelney

Demographics

Aethelney was a mostly elven settlement, with only a few other races present.

Defences

The town is believed to have had big defensive walls in its later years made out of limestone. It is unknown how Aethelney could build these walls, but it is believed magic was involved.

Architecture

Aethelney shows signs of early elvish masonry and woodwork. The few remaining ruins show that the buildings were made in high quality and with great detail.

Geography

Aethelney is located in a hilly forest only a few miles from mountains and larger hills. The area is thriving with wildlife, natural resources and has some rivers close by coming from The Spine Peaks. After the great fire of Aethelney, the town and the area within a few miles became swallowed in ash, basalt, obsidian, and pumice stone. The air is also dangerous to breathe as it is heavily polluted with carbon dioxide and some sulfur gases.
