Corren mostly wore his well crafted gray set of half-plate armor with plate gauntlet and boots. He also wore a yellow scarf, cloak and sash, all decorated with the symbol of Tharen.

Corren was well practiced with most weapons, but prefered polearms, especially the bec de corbin.

Personal history
Corren was born in A4 623 in Nimiri, to two young parents who had little, and made their money from river fishing. He had a happy childhood with his parents, and when he was 12, he got a younger sister named Verna, who he loved. He would do anything to protect her, and they were inseparable throughout their youth. His parents were both very religious, especially his father who was a worshiper of Tharen, a god not commonly worshiped in Tyrania, but one who his family had worshiped ever since they came to Tyrania about 200 years before Corren was born. Corren was taught to pray to Tharen from a young age, something he did, but unlike most of Tharen's worshippers, Corren received visions of his potential, and what he could be doing for his god. It took him a long time to understand his calling, but by the time he was 23, he had come to terms that he could do more in the world as one of his paladins.
Corren's life took a drastic turn as he began life on the road by himself. He knew little of what he was going to do, but he knew that his god was guiding him. He had previously been to the trugarian military academy in Theseria for a couple of years before returning home, so he knew how to fight, but life as an adventurer and paladin would be vastly different from what they had taught him there. He wandered the empire looking for people to help and instructions from his god, which were rare, but guided him nonetheless. He would travel across the empire and help many people for many years before he was given powers by his god. He began receiving gifts, such as blessed strikes, healing touch and spells of low circles. Gifts he would give to the sick, wounded or those in need as he traveled. His greatest test would come in A4 651 as he ended up north, far beyond the borders of the empire in ruins that were made by worshipers of the demon princes who invaded during Dürthang. A demon lord from the abyss had begun rituals to emerge from the abyss through the aid of his worshipers on the prime material plane, and Corren, alongside a few others and many gray guards, ended up fighting the creature and his small army. They won the battle, but at a large cost to the guards and Corren. The demon lord Gratzius, the lord of Decay had cursed Corren's bloodline, especially his sister with a sickness that would kill her by the end of A4 652, if he did not release him by that time. Corren could never sacrifice the lives the demon lord would take for his sister, and would dedicate his life to fixing her before her time was up.
Corren's search to cure his sister brought him to the Silver Coast, and Euderia where he was going to search for answers among the Aurorian Order's chained halls, but he never made it there as he was intercepted by Illidan Windsor. He had heard of the adventurer who he admired through word, but he had apparently disguised himself as him to gain access to the chained halls in his place and stolen from the order. He had learned of the demon prince Adimarchus who could break bonds between mortals and demons. Corren was intrigued by what he had learnt, and decided to join him in his search as he was his best hope. The two become quick friends and Corren learnt much about Illidan, including that the demon prince Graz'zt was manipulating him and he had betrayed his allies to find a fix for himself. Corren supported his decision and he could relate to the stress put upon himself by his demon lord. The two would learn of Adimarchus' imprisonment in Fort Blight, ruled by a lichfiend called Atariom Blight, who served Graz'zt. They got help from a wizard called Rhazzad Lorens who had the ability to restore a portal in Facerax to take them there. Corren would aid Rhazzad in making sure the portal worked both ways, and during one of these trips and tests, he would be ambushed and knocked unconscious. He would wake up in the Nine Hells, where he was taken prisoner by Fierna, the lord of the fourth.
