Donnovan was a fresh breath of air in comparison to his father Raurik Grayhall. He was a fair, kind and gentle ruler who wanted nothing but the betterment for Revendell and all its people. He was often refered to as "The Gentle" because of his actions and how he ruled. He was coronated at the age of 30 in A4 190 and ruled for twenty years which at the time was believed to be the start of a golden age for the kingdom as everything went great. His rule made the sins of his father Raurik almost disappear as the Grayhalls seemed to be the perfect family to continue the great kingdom of Revendell. He had not only made up for what his father had done, gathered his realm but also brought peace between the other branch families. His reign was however cut short as he and his wife to be Adalyn Lockhart was poisoned at their wedding an event known as the "Withered Wedding".
