Groundbreaker

Qualifications

To qualify as the groundbreaker a person must have many decades of training as a monk of vigilance. They must be one of the best monks and oldest to take over as groundbreakers as there is always only one groundbreaker.

Appointment

A new groundbreaker can only be appointed by the current groundbreaker. It is also normal for the new groundbreaker to spend years under the direct training of the ruling groundbreaker to learn and experience the customs and duties of the groundbreaker.

Duties

The duties of the groundbreaker is to train the monks of vigilance and spread the word of Helm. They are also in charge of leading the monks into battle and save and protect the innocents.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

If a person misuses his power as a groundbreaker the other monks can remove his authority and give the title to a new person deemed fit to bear the title.
