High priest of Pelor

Qualifications

To become a high priest of Pelor a person must follow his believes and serve faithfully for many years. Many who serve Pelor will never become a high priest as a person must be especially unique in their strong faith.

Requirements

A high priest has usually followed Pelor's beliefs for a long time and are middle aged as it is important in Pelor's religion that a priest has experienced much of what life offers.

Duties

A high priest of Pelor has the important role of keeping his religion alive and spreading the light of Pelor. They also guide those who come after them and in Revendell the high priest has a role on the royal council as Pelor is their figure head deity.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

A high priest of Pelor can be removed only by Pelor. To be removed a person must have betrayed his believes or dirtied his name.
