Personal history
Dürthang
Kord was an active god before the events of the calamity known as Dürthang. He was also one of the few gods who could freely intervene on the prime plane with most of his powers in his avatar form, something which would lead to his death. Beshaba the demon prince of deceit would come to fear Kord's intervention in the demon invasion she was part of. She knew that if Kord would personally interfere in the event, her power would be put at risk. She went on to plot his demise by using another god who would also like to see Kord's demise, Teasif the living calamity. Together with Teasif, she managed to kidnap Kord's daughter Styrva from Asgard and hold her in pandemonium. When the news got to Kord, it didn't take him long to appear in pandemonium in the hopes of freeing his daughter. He was unsure of who had taken her but was not shocked when Teasif had her at his mercy. Kord knew that Teasif was many divine ranks above him in strength and that a fight would not favor his side, but when Teasif executed Styrva, this logic escaped him and a battle between the tempest gods would break out. The battle would shake the entire plane and cause massive storms on the prime plane to appear, something which would last for days, just like their battle. When the storms faded and the battle had come to an end, Teasif was victorious and Kord now at his mercy. Teasif would strike Kord with all his power and open a gateway to the prime plane behind him having him fall dozens of miles before crashing into the Stonefields. His corpse would remain on the plane as Mystryl was dead and her magic which normally protected the corpses of the gods was gone. The death of Kord would bolster Teasif's already great power and fear on the prime plane. With Kord's death, Beshaba had gotten what she wanted, but Teasif would eventually find out that he was manipulated and played by the demon prince of deceit and would swear revenge upon her.Titles
