The Moonward family has changed much in their agenda since Julius became the leader of the family. His father was the one who began focusing on education and building schools, but Julius was the one to really make it come true. He has focused much of the family's focus on making education easier to come by and affordable for the common people.
Assets
The Moonward family is one of the richest families in Evlora if not in the Empire. They have bought and invested in businesses, land and people for a thousand years, and even though they have been through much hardship, their wealth has stayed strong throughout the ages. It is estimated that the Moonward family is worth 5 000 000 gold in coins and assets.
History
The Moonward family is one of the oldest noble families in Evlora stemming back to the rule of the Silvermere family. Their family originally gained their wealth through their mercenary company known as the Moon Wards, which is also the origin of their well known name. The Moonwards used the money they earned from their company to buy land and invest in smaller businesses. After the new calamity and the civil war, the Moonward family rebranded some of their business. The Moon Wards were killed during the new calamity, and the new rules of the Trugarian Empire saw to it that no private people could own a private army of the size the Moon Wards once reached. Their new approach would use much of their older tactics of buying land and investments, but they would also focus much on knowledge and education.
