Cedric Botello

Born and raised in the region of Pastoralis, Cedric had a seemingly normal childhood where he learned how to tend to the family ranch. His father had hoped for him to become a farmhand and for him to take over the ranch as the eldest son of his family. However, the gods had a different plan for him.
One day, when Cedric was tending to the ranch's livestock, he noticed a nasty gash in one of the animal's sides. Cedric did not know much of medicine but he himself had seen the animal favor eating a specific plant in the open acres of the ranch. Cedric collected a sample of the plant and experimented with it, discovering its healing properties. Realizing that this common plant could drastically change many people's lives with its healing properties, Cedric went to work crafting a healing potion with the plant as a base.
Using his injured animal to test the rudimentary potion, Cedric discovered that he had succeeded in making a healing draft. In doing so, he realized his passion for medicine and healing and set off on his own to travel the land, learning and incorporating new herbs in his healing potion to improve it.
For the rest of his life, he traveled all across the country and contributed to healing the sick and weak. Due to this, he is known to many as the traveling Herb Healer.
