Circlet of Amiat

This circlet is representative of the types of jewelry worn by the middle and upper class citizens of the Malagran capitol. It was believed to be owned by the mistress of a wealthy elite, as it was discovered in the ruins of a great mansion on the city border. The circlet was worn by draping the jewelry chains over the side and back of the head, with the decorative section resting on the forehead. It was an item that served both to enhance beauty as well as demonstrate the piety of its wearer.
