Merchant career:

At 25 years old, he started his own trading fleet with just a single ship; this quickly became the most prominent merchant company staged in Brarieos, who would port hop goods from Egrecia to Doro. However, this went under during the broken flower financial bubble of 735. In which he was the owner of 1/3 of all unsold broken flowers. He was luckily very good friends with Cabiria Ayin, who offered him a deal. She had decided to bail out a subdivision of her own trading company that focused on selling onions harvested in Ardonia to people in Ahum by buying all their unsold goods, if Valria could sell them, all of them at a profit she would pay off his the loans he took to buy broken flowers.

Personal history

Lucas Valria gained a name as a merchant very early on, at just the age of 8 he famously managed to sell a pen to a noble's son in exchange for the noble's pet cat. At 10 he ran away from home by acting as a stowaway on a merchant ship to Egrecia. When asked why he left, he responded, "The sea gave me an offer, and I bought it" he managed to successfully convince the captain, that it was more in his interest to keep him on rather than ever return him to Brarioes. It was during this trip he became good friends with, the future Egrecian secret council member Cabiria Ayin.

Mental Trauma

Bought too many broken flowers, and onions, now he hates both.
