The City of Malagra

Geography

Malagra City is the primary and most popular city of Malagra, located in the upper middle section of the Malagra Region. Malagra City experiences a medditeranean climate and locals enjoy their proximity to the coast of the Baltasar Gulf.

Government

Malagra City is governed by a large council of priests. These priests reside in the city's central temple which doubles as a shelter for the masses in case of an attack. Governance is based on Kaddite ideals which are strictly followed in Malagra. There are rare times when heavy enforcement of law is needed as most settlers in the region adhere to these religious beliefs and practices.

Tourism

Malagra City experiences a heavy amount of tourism, especially religious tourism as Malagra is the primary pilgrimage site of Tel Rialis. This level of tourism makes the city a large economic and cultural epicenter as people come from all over the country to visit.

Arts and Culture

Malagra City has a large appreciation for religious art, the most popular mediums being pottery, mosaic work, and painting. These works regularly show depictions of the God's particulary Amiar, the Eagle God of Love/Hate as well as other Kada gods.

Amiar's Nest

Amiar's nest is the main tourist draw to Malagra City. There is a myth that when early settlers passed through Malagra, their leader had a dream of an Amiar the Eagle building his nest in a crater before leaving to live in the Lokuras Rock volcano. Their leader awoke and declared this to be a safe space and the crater to be referred to as the former nest of a god. Tourists who visit the nest will leave offerings in form of souveniers to Amiar
