The Verdancy

The Verdancy is an immense magical rainforest located to the northwest of the kingdom of Egrecia. It is known for its lush greenery, towering trees, and abundance of life.
This rainforest is magical in nature due to its heightened resistance to fire. Due to this, it is nearly impossible for any wildfire to spread in the forest, and so, it is difficult for anyone to chart the path through the Verdancy.
This rainforest is an important landmark for Egrecia for a multitude of reasons as they act as a natural line of defense against any would-be invaders and provide important nutrients to the farms of the kingdom. There is a river that runs through the heart of the Verdancy and this river is the root reason for the lush plainlands that farmers of Egrecia enjoy.
