The Spine

A mountain range in the North-west part of Aberronia. It shields the country from the harsh, unusual winds which usually bring snow and sleet storms into the whole continent every year.
The Legend tells that once an ancient ice dragon promised to help people suffering from the harsh northern winds. It laid itself on the shoreline, protecting the lands of the people, and eventually with time its body formed the Mountain range, which, true, from a far looks like the silhoutte of a lying down dragon.

Fauna & Flora

Only the toughest creatures survive in the unforgiving environment, yet the animals and plants are not scarce. You might not find large forests or large herds of animals roaming on the mountainside, but there is, unlike at the first glance, lot of life in the mountainside. One might notice small families of mountain goats here and there as white speckles in the rocky terrain , and a few snow rabbits which have adapted to the cold temperature by growing thick fur valued by the hunters, feeding on the tough yet nutritious grass.
