The Eidolon Lilith, The Phoenix

One of the three legendary beings, known as The Eidolons, creatures left behind after the Catastrophe by the Prime Dieties to safeguard the mortal realm.
A predatory bird, comparable in size to rocs and the largest of dragons, its feathers colored like the hottest of blazes. Merely being in its presence could be deadly, through the sheer heat and light it gives off. It is said its flames contain the essence of all those it has consumed, and in battle, the flames take on the forms of those consumed to aid their consumer. The only of the Eidolons said to take on a humanoid form, it is said Lilith rarely appeared before others as in the form of a little girl. It also showed the ability a number of times to revive itself after suffering devastating injuries, erupting into a column of flame, leaving an egg behind that hatched a week later.
However, this ability did not seem to aid it in its last endeavor, again beating the Draconis Imperium back to their own borders, as the Eidolon was defeated, and rather than reforming, its sun-bleached skeleton lies atop the sands of the outpost established by the Imperium shortly thereafter.
It set its domicile to the south, amongst the Endless Sands, and became the patron of the country that blossomed there under its watchful eye. Superheated sand making its nesting place a massive glass bubble inside the dunes?
