A traveling tattooist was inspired by a young woman who, though blind, was able to "see" her immediate area with a stomp of her foot. With her aid, this tattoo was made, and has since helped dungeon delvers navigate tight and dark underground spaces, and avoid being caught off-guard by the creatures that lurk therein. It should come as no surprise then, that its bearers today  are often scouts that have to enter dangerous territory on their own.
