Basil

The Basils are Reptilian humanoids. They are bipedal, and very big in comparison to most sentient races. They tend to be “bald”. They all have a venom that causes escalating Paralysis in their victims. The common person’s venom is less effective and in smaller quantities than that of the strong soldiers or experienced scholars etc. Those who do have very potent venom have a venom that will eventually lead to the death of most members of other races, however, it takes a while to produce again, and also it fatigues the Basil to use in big enough amounts to kill.

Being cold blooded, they didn't need clothes to keep themselves warm. They will wear at most a loincloth normally.

In some of the other races there are myths that the Basils petrify the opponents, but that is only because of how some victims looked like.
