The Co'ara are insectoid, but specifics can vary wildly.

Genetics and Reproduction

The queen of the hive hatches all members of the hive.

Growth Rate & Stages

At first, the larval Co'ara are similar to each other. At the age of 6 years the undergo their first metamorphosis. At the age of 16 years the undergo their second metamorphosis. Some individuals can undergo a third metamorphosis, and in even rarer cases individuals undergo a fourth metamorphosis.

Ecology and Habitats

Their hives tend to be mostly underground.

Social Structure

They are divided into hives controlled by a queen. While they do have individual personalities, they are part of the hive and can't usually refuse the queen or the will of the hive. They are defined by their roles and don't have names. The hive share a sort of telepathic thoughtscape, but only the queen can force herself into the minds...

Geographic Origin and Distribution

Most hives are located in the Eastern part of the continent. Some outliers are found in the (little to the) north center

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

In addition to "regular" senses and magic in some individuals, there exists a telepathic connection to the hive mind and queen.
