Alterna 1: Legacy of the Shrinking
The Mindrealms first Alterna, “Legacy of the Shrinking”, has been manifested into existence.
A World which actually doesn't stray too far from our own, but contains a dark, dystopian core.
As after a devastating declaration of war from mother nature herself, humanity developed a mere wonder of technology.
A machine which was capable of resizing any mass on the planet, up to 100 times its original size, to not only quickly and effectively multiply much needed resources. But also drastically cut down on the emission of green house gases through their transport.
However, this great milestone of human ingenuity, also served as a slumbering apocalypse, just waiting to happen.
As in April 2137, the mysterious and cataclysmic event known as “The Shrinking” took place.
Which shrank down half of earths population to a mere 5 to 10 centimeters tall. And not only caused numerous accidents and disasters to happen all around the globe, but also for countless, now shrunken people, to go missing on the day it all happened.
As well as planting slowly growing seeds of corruption and greed, within the minds of many unaffected people from the event.
To spiral humanity down a dark path, which forever shattered the moral of society as we knew it.
