Additional Insights:
With his true origin being shrouded in mystery, there are only some vague speculations, speaking about a rumor that says that for an unknown reason, his egg was most likely buried deep underground at the edge of the Desert of Bones. Before it was eventually laid bare by the Spirits turning the ground into sand. After being revealed to the raw heat of the Spirit Sun, he was then able to hatch, finding himself surrounded by a barren ocean of scorching sands. Where he stayed entirely unnoticed throughout his maturation. As no adventurer was yet to dare venturing to the edges of the Spirit formed regions.
The first time anyone has ever caught a glimpse of his existence, was in the Lands' 92nd year, during a foolish expedition to try and uncover Ilvwa's Elusive Pyramid, said to be hidden somewhere within the desert's mirage.
Though instead of finding a temple, rumored to hold the most valuable treasures from forsaken civilizations, all they found was a hellish extension to our land, seemingly melted into the very edge of the Desert of Bones by a force rivaling even the power of the Great Spirits.
A scorching landscape, emitting even more heat than the desert itself, whilst being fully covered in layers of ashen black sand and misty smoke covering the air, as well as unworldly looking spikes of the purest obsidian one has ever seen.
Mesmerized by their discovery, the group of adventurers decided to venture even deeper into this unknown realm of infernal darkness, where they eventually stumbled upon the sole reason for this unexplainable creation of land.
Throning atop a monumental volcano, right at the edges center of the region, the group noticed a colossal silhouette, watching their every move with infernal eyes, whilst otherwise perfectly blending in with the volcanos constant emission of black smoke.
Unsure if they had been blessed with the rare sight of one of the Great Spirits, the group foolishly did not turn around, but instead decided to step closer and closer to the foot of this hellish mountain, trying to get a better view of the massive creature resting on top.
However, this quickly turned out to be one of their biggest mistakes. As the volcano suddenly began to light up with infernal veins, before releasing a sudden geyser of bright red lava, illuminating not only the sky, but also perfectly outlining the massive creature resting in front of it.
As it turned out, the creature was nothing less than an Ancient Dragon, perching on top of the mountain like a king on a throne.
Who, in a quick and majestic demonstration of his might, raised up his wings to eclipse near all of the light from the erupting volcano, leaving the group with a brief blindness and an after image of the Dragon burned into their eyes.
Before the next thing they were able to see was just a barrage of flaming spears raining mercilessly atop of them.
Out of the initial 5 adventurers set out on their expedition, only 1 managed to return with the half molten gear of one of his former comrades. Bringing forth a report that even frightened the Elven Queen herself.
