Aslan
Larger moon of Alterra, light grey to dark grey in color and has the same crust chemistry as Alterra. Aslan is roughly 700 miles in diameter and orbits Alterra at a distance of 93,000 miles and appears as the brightest object in the night sky and is roughly thumb sized when viewed.
Geography
Aslan is an airless rocky moon covered in craters. The moon has darker areas around the larger craters ejecta that shows a darker interior. The are sharp mountains but few above 900', some are driven by crater build up others from ancient geological activity.
Ecosystem
Lifeless moon.
Ecosystem Cycles
Aslan is tidally locked with Alterra and only one face is seen at night. A day on Aslan is 36 days long and one revolution is 36 days long. There may be water ice or carbon dioxide ice in deep craters.
Natural Resources
Ancient texts mention a survey of Aslan that showed it had few resources not already available on Alterra. If the ancients visited or lived on the moon long ago that information disappeared long ago.
