Located above the Well of the World, this skyland is home to the most famous, most prestigious school of magic over all Alterra. With 8 schools each dedicated to a specific school of magic, the most ambitious of spell casters throughout the realm make their way here to hone their craft.

Altus possesses an extremely diverse community of students adequately representing nearly every race throughout Alterra. Most of these students come from wealthy or influential families; however, many are recruited via scholarship if they show a high affinity for the mystic arts.
