Feneril Adventuring Guild

A vital part of the city, the guild members are tasked with keeping the tourists safe. They function as guards and sometimes guides for the safaris into the jungle to see the dinosaurs or sages / treasure hunters going into the many ruins.   They may also be upon called to supplement the city watch in times of trouble whether natural disaster (fires, floods, etc.) or attacks.

Tav does not charge yearly dues from the locals who wish to call themselves Adventurers. He keeps the guild running by taking a brokerage fee from each transaction that happens withing the guild walls.
For Adventurers that wish to have membership in the world wide Adventurers Guild Organization the fee for Standard membership is 100 gp a year and entitles one to guild Prices for the Amenities that affiliated guilds offer. While benefits will vary by location, most will have thew following:  
  • A bunk room with lockable trunks to overnight in
  • "Home cooked" meals at a reduced price from local eateries
  • Access to "second time around" adventuring gear from other members
  • Information about local history and landmarks
  • Scribe/cartographer services
  • Class specific services
  • Last rites/will/personal demise procedures
Premium membership grands front of line service and first pick for new supplies as well as individual runners for messages and missives.
Associate membership grants the member a resurrection attempt. The member will provide a digit (finger or toe) of their choice, the digit is then turned to stone and held until needed. It is used to perform the resurrection spell should word of the associates death reache the guild. Once resurrection has been attempted a new Associates fee and digit is required, and in any case only 1 resurrection attempt a year is allowed.

Structure

The Guild Leader bids on the jobs and assigns them. He also keeps in contact with the Adventurers Guild Organization both in terms of job offerings and the political “temperature” of the different areas. The Guild Associates perform all other tasks to keep the guild running, from cleric, to cook, to merchant.
