Rhys Seridar
Rhys was born in the middle of a field to a family who abandoned him after a seer informed them he carried the "Family Curse" of poor wealth management, he was taken in by a Lord and Lady who had no intention of letting humans, much less foreign, raise a high elf.
He has two siblings in his found family and is the middle child; one older sister and one younger sister. His mother is the favorite courtesan of the King and his father does not need to work as the family has more than enough money. However, due to his curse, he has a gambling problem and was bailed out of debt by his younger sister and now must pay her back before he is welcome back home.
His life so far has been both blessed and cursed, quite literally.
As a young child, he was molested by a group of human merchants. He has vague memories of this.
At some point in his childhood, he was found to be Blessed:
1. He has a natural aptitude for learning and gains an extra skill rank wherever a rank is gained.
2. He never fumbles skill checks
3. He cannot be mind controlled or charmed in any way.
On his coming of age birthday, an extravagant party was thrown, anyone who was anybody, including the King, was present. One gift was left anonymously, a beautiful, gemmed blade that grows in power with him. It is currently +1.
As an adolescent, Rhys became friends with a respected banker. He learned the art of seduction from his mother, and fell in love with his now wife, Savane (Pronounced Sa-van-ee). She inspired him to better himself, and one skill () increased by +1 (+2 from Blessing.)
As a young man, he was once accused of Treason, trespassing in the King's bedchambers. Between his mother's connection to the King and the fact that he wasn't even there, the charges were dropped.

the noble background comes with retainers or posiiton of privledge. Jana is going with the retainers so she will have 4 people following her around to set up our tent and such whereas I will be able to use my title to get people's attention as needed.
