Ivesfall

The northwestern side of Auldcross Hill dips steeply down into the Ivesfall district. The quarter is the oldest part of the city after the Caliginian tower itself. Many of the towers are painstakingly hewn from granite och quite a few are overgrown with the thick ivy from which the district takes it's name.

Spellweaver Square

The heart of Ivesfall is Spellweavers square. Well kept greenery are interposed with marble statues of famous wizards. The center of the square is dominated with a large bronze statue of Mordechai Melanchar, the last wizard king of Carfour.

Duskthorne Alley

If you make your way down the stairwyas from Auldcross and then take a sharp turn towards the Tower of the Twilight Rose you find yourself inte the narrow Duskthorne alley. The alley houses several magical shops, some of them only open at night and with a sinister reputation.

Tower of the Twilight Rose

The Tower of the Twilight Rose is the third largest tower in Carfour after the Caliginian Tower and Skyreach, and by far the most beautiful. The graceful elven architecture is rich with statues and stone carvings, complemented by rose vines climbing the exterior and blooming on the balconies. The tower is the domain of the notorious and Salienthe Siannodel.
The Midnight Gallery: The base of Salienthes tower is a castle-like structure that houses an auction hall where curious and very rare items are sold to the highest bidder four times a year. Noblemen, scholars and mages from all over the Chivalric lands come to these auctions seeking the treasures that sometimes are on offer here.
The Rosecellars: Cut into the rock outcropping that the Tower rests on are an exclusive bath house and brothel. The pools and basin are heated from natural hot springs or chilled by magical means. Saunas, treatment rooms and massage parlors surround the bathing halls, but also private chambers where the rich and powerful are serviced by beautiful men and women in a more intimate way.
