Session 3 - Civilization

General Summary

The Party and a restrained Kaldrik head up the stairs in the temple leading to a large room filled with make shift bunk beds. The party manages to restrain the sleeping humanoid in the room after rudely awakening him with fire. Learning that the newly restrained human is not a cultist but the janitor of the occupied temple who is working to pay off a debt to the Boss Cultist (now deceased) the party decides to let him go. Exploring around the rest of the temple before leaving the party finds an Elf named Stefan cooking bread in the kitchen area, and a long since abandoned prayer room with a semi-destroyed statue that has been graffiti-ed with paint. Eriketh, using the wall as leverage topples the statue over, causing into break into now unrecognizable chunks. The party then leaves the temple and follows a worn path heading towards the Town of Harbington.

After a confrontation with the town guard at the entrance to the town, the party manages to enter the town. Rolen stops to ask for directions from a farmer that had set up a small stand selling livestock and produce, End up buying a chicken named Susie and some Tearishes, in exchange for a dagger. The party proceeds to make an appointment and talk with the Mayor. After negotiating 5 gold and a free nights stay at the Babblebrook Inn for the arrest of a Cyric cultist and the disposal or the rest of the cult, the party sets out to rest from their travels.

At the Babblebrook Inn Bearach buys a round of drinks for a group of Orcs and Half-Orcs, who spend the evening telling him their story, and about the Orc war from the past. The rest of the party with food and drink begin looking over the ReQuest Board.
