Underworlder

Underworlders are a large ethnic group mainly inhabiting the territories of the Underworld. The term is used to refer to those who both identify as a member of the Subterran Alliance and speak Undercommon as their native language.

Underworlders as an ethnic group are a product of the Undercommon language being developed to unite the people of the Underworld as part of the Subterran Alliance, similar to the motivations behind forming the United Commonlands. The term is sometimes used to broadly refer to denizens of the Underworld as a whole.
