Maria Cartwright is a bard former adventurer aboard the Mistwalker.
She got along well with the party, specifically Thordak who she enjoyed the company of, and Olympia due to being fellow bards.
She mostly spent her time performing classic remixes of tavern songs and Olympia eventually discovered that Maria did not know how to write original music and did not have the creativity to do it well... Olympia made a point of forcing Maria to learn how to write songs after Maria had promised Mimsi a song of 'Heroism, romance and comedy.'
Lyren had mentioned to the party that Maria Cartwright has a deep seated fear of inquisitors, is a Aist mage and was once a far more capable fighter and adventurer until she went into hiding after a former party member and Inquisitor started to hunt her.
Mimsi protected Maria for a large period of the fight during the sea of chaos before rejoining Persicorum.
The party did not see what happened to Maria afterwards and could not see her as the Mistwalker sank.
Persicorum, upon returning to Alturis after their time in The Feywild had learnt that Maria has been hiding out in Freyfrost and performing there, earning fame and acclaim as well as singing the praises of Persicorum... earning them a small measure of fame.
