The King

The King is a hobgoblin who runs the King's Head Inn in the Monastery of Flowers, they are also the Master of the Drunken style in the Monastery of Flowers... the least popular of the styles due to it's emphasis on fogging the mind and the senses and 'playing the fool' in combat and in life. He comes across as a drunken moron but notably has a keen eye and there is a sharpness behind his dull exterior. He very rarely takes on apprentices in the Monastery but that is mostly due to the fact many monks do not take him, or his position, seriously.
Persicorum found an ally and companion in the King and, especially Kodo and Mimsi found him to be an excellent adversary in Pai Sho and a subtle teacher of the drunken style. Upon the monastery being freed by Elder Caste for 24 hours, The King took the opportunity to leave with Steady Rock and stated that he wanted to adventure for a time and see the world, not as a barman but as a person with his own agency but that he wished Persicorum well and hoped to meet them again.
