The Maestro's
"They were built on intense drama and showmanship but, gods above, if you graduate with the Maestro's you will always be regarded as one of the world's finest chefs."The Maestro guild were created with the intention of allowing chefs to learn from one another and, occasionally, compete with one another too. There is small evidence that the Maestro's were a small guild before the Dread King calamity but, since then they have returned as a force and established some of the finest recipes and meals across Alturis. The Maestro guild are known for their demanding and intense training to reach the rank of Maestro within and they are also known for a yearly event. The Night of Knives. An event in which chefs compete against one another in maestro and amateur categories to claim the 'True Blade' a chefs knife that never dulls and is capable of infusing seasonings within the blade itself. The Maestro's may be extra af and a little intense, but they also introduce the finest meals across Alturis.
- A Magus historian comments on the inception of the Maestro's.
Structure
The organisation is controlled and organised by Maester's who move across Alturis and take on appropriate apprentices. They only gather as an organised faction once per year for the Night of Knives.
There are currently 7 Maestros: One known is Devin Rue.
Culture
The Maestro's have a culture of hard work, a love of food, a love of their own brand of adventuring with food... many maestros are former adventurers who wished to find a deeper use for the unique flavours of Alturis' deadliest monsters.
Maestros are successful chefs and amateur maestros are often apprentices to these chefs.
