The Silas Povir and Wanderer memories shared
When Silas activates his mythic state, he will start dragging energy out of the wanderer at more speed and will activate the following lair actions that will require saves to overcome each time.
1. 'Go then Entity, Wander to their origins. Find the nostalgic melancholy in their hearts' - Silas commands the wanderer to change reality for the party and explore their minds and memories and adventures. They must make a DC19 Wisdom saving throw or be transported to the street battle battlemap where the party members are attacked by Gearkeeper's who attack with brutal intensity. They return at the start of the next round.
Party members that hit a 25+ on their save or critically succeed will instead transport to a hidden Silas memory as they watch a pair of blue firbolgs running through the fallrock ash before an elderly firbolg slashes them down before turning to a young Silas and saying 'those that leave are traitors, they die as is deserved... leave the child' the father walks away followed by a tearful Silas whilst a tiny 3ft tall firbolg child cries in the ash as two firbolg's drag the parents bodies away. They then start their turn as normal. The Wanderer watches with a vengeful smile alongside the party.
2. 'We send them again, wander to adversity, find their loss and misery... no... that one is too risky lest we draw it's eye... go to the next... yessss... the next'. Party must succeed on a DC19 Strength saving throw or be forcefully shunted to their memory of the feywild and the fight with Proto. They return at the start of the next round.
Party members that hit a 25+ on their save or critically succeed will instead transport to a house in the caverns of Fallrock with a teen Silas standing over a Drow that twitches and is broken. 'None will help the Firbolgs, none will save the firbolgs but me. Show them what that means boy.' Silas raises the blade above his head and whispers a prayer for peace in giantkin (begging the raven queen and Duskmother to guide this soul to contentment) before slamming the blade down and destroying the form. 'Weak, pathetic; you sympathise! I will show you what sympathy wins you!' at this point the wanderer whispers with a small joy 'a precursor to his pain, a favoured memory of mine' they then take their turn as normal.
3. 'Silas trembles through the blood and pain, 'we go another Wanderer, show them hope... show them victory so we may break their spirit'. the party must succeed on a DC19 Intelligence saving throw or be robbed of their senses and intellect and be transported to Casamir's library containing the beholder and Casamir. They return at the start of the next round.
Party members that hit a 25+ on their save or critically succeed will instead transport to a lower level of the dungeom where a group of firbolg's conspire together. They whisper of escape and they are led by a firbolg they call 'The one who raided and returned' and they talk of cities and treats and joy. In the moment of their packing, Silas knocks their door down and lowers his blade. 'Please, this one should come with us, escape your father!' the blade in Silas' hand wavers slightly before becoming firm and announcing 'there is only one way firbolg's survive. As father says, we go deep and find sanctuary. Those who are not with us, die with the rest' and he lashes forwards. The wanderer watches and shakes their head in disgusts at this. The party then take their turns as normal.
4. 'ENtity! Weak, wantaway entity! Show them pain, hurt them, break them. Show them loss' the party must succeed on a DC19 Constitution saving throw or be pushed and broken out of the current reality and sent ot the next; sending them to the home of Erolith. They return at the start of the next round.
Party members that hit a 25+ on their save or critically succeed will instead transport to a different version of the final room they face Silas in. They see Silas' father and several other firbolg's; jaded, confused and battered. The father looks around and says 'no... there must be more... we must dig, this was not in this ones dream... what was waiting here?' Silas howls in rage and drops his blade before charging at his father and beating him to death as the other firbolg's flee to the above level in fear of Silas' bloodthirsty rage. The party then take their turn as normal.
5. 'Find... find their bonds' the party must succeed on a DC19 Charisma saving throw or be knocked into another reality. On a fail, send party members to the source factory. They return at the start of the round.
Party members that hit a 25+ on their save or critically succeed will instead transport to the room once more. They see Silas leans over his father's body as a ghostly figure stands at his side. The angle changes and they see Silas is consuming his father here; 'yes boy, first it was me and now you. I did as you did... cannibalism of a father, the ritual of vampirism and eternal power. Under my stewardship, under the king's service when he arrives. Your race will thrive. I decree this as the Judge of the Dread King' at that Silas rises to face him. With redenned eyes and a rage in his face hidden by a brutal smile. 'You think I care for your king? The one who deserves no name? Or you, his judge? You served your purpose here and gave me all I need to save my kind. But let me warn you of this Ashe. Darken my doorstep or my people and I will ensure that your revenant warden will not keep me from consuming you and if I see that damn boy again, or hear his honeyed magic I will send him to join you! Begone, I have what I need and it will not be as another servant of the grand evil!' At the end of Silas' tirade the wanderer looks at him and says 'I was foolish to keep my guard down around him. I thought I was save with those sisters and I thought that he was an ally to the entities, I was naive, an enemy of the dread king is an enemy to us. They seem to think we always spell disaster. Whether behind a door or in a doll. All creatures want to do is contain and trap us... except Kodo... he understands.'
6. 'Send... to... one... final... pain' the party must succeed on a DC19 Dexterity saving throw or be thrust into another reality. Send to the fight with Nirya Moonbrook. Lair actions end after this point.
Party members that hit a 25+ on their save or critically succeed will instead transport to a conversation in a banquet hall. Silas sits opposite the red robed and fine faced figure Xan Prayerkeep whilst a mage in a tunic who coughs into a napkin stands at the side. 'Wakefield? You come to my home, disrupt my people... for Wakefield?' 'Yes, Povir I do. Your reputation precedes you and I am in need of strong allies who wish to prevent the opening of a door that will spell disaster. Go to Wakefield and dig down, find the doll and contain the Wandering entity. Simplicity itself... in return, when this is done, I will make Fallrock the home of the Firbolg's and protect it for all time as an official state.' Silas ponders this as the tunic figure adds 'it would help everyone, your kind have suffered enough and we need help. Xan cannot leave and I cannot offer anything of note other than advice... please, we only ask that you find the doll' With this, Silas stands and says 'Prayerkeep you scream of opportunism and lies... but, you, Thulien, you taste and smell as honest as they come. I will do this because I trust YOU.' Silas leaves and the wanderer whispers conspiratorially 'Silas knew something that I do not. He had knowledge that no one else does. I don't know how he knows and I don't know why I cannot see it but, at some point working for Xan Prayerkeep and Thulian Serranos, he deduced a key player in this whole affair and worked with ferocity. He believed he would save all of us... and then he became obsessed with ruining me...' teh party then take their turns as normal.
