Fragarach (+)

One of The 4 Treasures of the Tuatha De Danann, lost by the great Sidhe Knight Muldumarec. Dubbed The Whisperer, The Answerer and The Retaliator, this was the sword of Nuada Silverhand, the first High King of the Tuatha de Danann, forged by the gods.
When Nuada lost his arm in the First Battle of Mag Tuired against the Fir Bolg, the seer Brigid declared that none with blemish can rule and he was forced to step down. He passed his treasures onto Muldumarec, champion of the Sidhe.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Legend says that when Fragarach is placed to an enemy's throat, that enemy could not move or tell a lie. The sword also places the wind at the wielder's command, granting them the ability to cut through any shield or wall, and inflict wounds from which no man can recover. What other secrets it holds are lost.

Forged by Gobannus, legendary smith of the Tuatha de Danann, and enchanted by runic magik by Credne, the silversmith.

Significance

Fragarach is a legendary sword of the Tuatha de Danann, meant to be wielded by the one chosen by the Lia Fail, the Stone of Destiny, the High King of the Tuatha de Danann. The sword and other treasures were passed from Nauda Silverhand to Muldumarec, but were lost, leaving the Children of Danu without a King.
