Ainann Yaehime

Yaehime is the first born daughter to the empress of Ainann, making her the royal heir to the crown. With her mother, the empress, on her deathbed for months, many believe the princess will soon ascend to the throne, and many of the 7 Clans oppose this ascension. The princess is little known by the people of Ainann outside of her poetry, poetry which belies an unpopular progressivism. Under the tutelage of Shirohana, sister to the empress, Yaehime should be the perfect heir. However, a secret amongst the clans conspires to put her sister, Eihime, on the throne instead.
