The Kaeri Imperium

The massive continent of Kyrell is the second largest on the planet of Alyria and is arguably home to the largest population of peoples, rivaled only by the isolated lands of Vall'Khoran. Like in most regions of Alyria, the likes of man have struggled to maintain a balanced standing upon the realms of Kyrell. Over the past few millennia, attempts at civilizations that may span the continent's wide birth have risen time and time again, only to fall in the end. With that said, although life within Kyrell may be harsh and wild, it is by no means impossible. This can most plainly be exemplified by the 7 individually pronounced nations that have arisen within recent centuries. Due to the initiative of what is by far the most advanced nation, The Kraetorian Reach, an effort to combine the powers of man has been made, as ambassadors of peace have been sent out to the other 6 nations in order to broker a newfound alliance amongst the likes of man. Thus formed The Kyrellian Coalition, a hastily formed alliance amongst 7 rivaling nations of man, each within their own periods of advancement and society, defined by their intensely different systems of belief and perspective.  

The Kraetorian Reach


The Kraetorian Reach is said to be the most advanced nation in all of the Kyrellian Coalition. Having been founded by the late King Aemus Kraetoran II in the earliest stages of The Reach, the survival of the Kyrellian Coalition and all that it brings forth to the various participating nations rests largely upon the very same kingdom in the modern-day. The people of the Kraetorian Reach live behind a number of massive city-states within their lands, connected by various trade routes that have been formed through the thick woods that divide them. As a kingdom largely made up of a human populace, The Reach is said to be the youngest of the 7 nations, and yet, through a sense of revolutionary wonder, their people have made more technological, architectural, and societal revolutions than any of the others put together. With that said, the protection and evolved state brought forth by The Reach doesn't come without charge. Due to the nature of this unpredictable world, the lands of The Reach are ruled by an overbearing system of government designed to keep them safe from outside forces as well as themselves.

Spanning the lengths of Kyrell's southeastern peninsula along the Umbral Sea, the Vermillian Shores are home to a lust grove of tropical forests and scattered jungles, seaside cliffs towering over rocky beaches, and bustling trade routes across the nearby blackened seas. This coastal region is ruled over as a nation in large part by a series of trade guilds from across the 4 major city states of the region, having banded together in order to bring a sense of unity to the region and combat the likes of their lesss-savory adversaries under the name of The Free Folk Trading Company. This land holds a strict and fruitful economy that starkly contrasts the likes of the lively peoples, vibrant art, exotic performances, and excellent food—as well as the indulgence of vice, piracy, and illicit business.   The 4 major city states each act as a bustling mercantile hub that supports and distributes trade throughout much of the Coalition. These cities include the likes of Bruvanis, Dharusia, New Haven, & Port Tywin.

The Isles of New Providence


The Pirate Isles of New Providence hold a strange position within The Coalition. Due to the positioning of their islands and the gargantuan size of their collective naval power, the Pirates of New Providence hold unique power over The Kraetorian Reach, those who largely enforce the Coalition formed under their banners. With a direct hold over any trade routes that may make their way towards The Reach, The Pirates of New Providence are largely allowed to do as they please, including harass and pillage the likes of their neighbors to the east, Dharsia.
