Immaterial Eternity

The Immaterial Eternity, or Breath of Ovor, is the driving force of the universe. Although it has been the great question for scientists and magic theorists alike for millenias, the closest they've come to an explanation is that it represents the remnants of the immense primordial power Ovor Avantuuris used to create the Cosmic Reality from nothingness. Most of that remnant is still around, creating a dense field of energy that allows magic user to grasp at the arcana field and faithfuls to draw energy from their gods. Although part of it constantly seeps in The Chaos, nobody, including the Lords of Chaos, known what becomes of it.
Over time, it became the main subject of the conflict between the Lords and the Divines, the former believing the seepage is entropy at work and should feed Chaos until it takes over the entire Cosmic Reality, while the latter try to find ways to stop it and restore Order anew. Both Manaa The Dreamer and Vastissa, Queen of Chaos are locked in a neverending battle in the Eternal Dream for control of it, both matched equally in power, both rendered mostly powerless by that struggle.
