Marbelliese Otter
Basic Information
Anatomy
Marbelliese Otters have long, slim bodies and relatively short limb. They have webbed feet used to swim, with sharp claws on their feet and long, muscular tails. They tend to be around 1.5m in length and around 40kg in weight.
Famously, contrary to other type of otters, they have spotted fur, generally brown to black.
Genetics and Reproduction
Their gestation period is around 70-80 days, and the youngs tend to mature and leave after about a year.
Ecology and Habitats
They tend to enjoy lakes, rivers, and seas, often playing in the water and making their lair near it.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Marbelliese otter enjoy feeding on fish, birds, frogs, and insects, that they hunt in groups.
Biological Cycle
They usually live about 20 years, reach sexual maturity from 2 to 3 years.
Behaviour
The Marbelliese otter is very playful and although it is very capable of sensing evil intention, they are very gentle and friendly to those that don't exhibit them.
