Bagra, the Patient

The most recent god to ascend to divinity, Bagra, the patient, has a fairly simple story. Bagra was a monk that worshipped at the Church of Dawn in Dawnbank, a church devoted to the worship of the Lady of Life and those who also served in her Upper Realms. Bagra was somewhat of an outcast amongst her peers, as she believed that all gods were worthy of worship in some form or another and that to worship only those that directly benefited the church went against the purpose of the gods, which she saw as balance. It is said that one early morning she received a vision from Merellien of Fixed Memory. The very same day, Bagra had packed her things and travelled down to Firstport, and much like he had before her, she chartered a ship and set off into the unknown lands to the east. Those closest to Bagra had been surprised by her quick response to such a vision, as usually Bagra had spent days pondering and meditating on all decisions she would make, but there was not a moment of hesitation in her decision to follow the words of a god that her church had pretty much denounced.   Almost a year later, Bagra announced her ascension somewhat privately to those who worshipped in the Church of Dawn, announcing she had joined those who served alongside the Lady of Life, though she never revealed what her divine favour was, and to this day, she is the only known god to not announce a gift granted by the Lady of Life or the Duke of Death, though some theorise that she may not have asked or just not been given one, like Thadron, of Cursed Greed. Since she began her role as one of the gods of the Upper Realms, she has continued her goal of advocating for equal worship amongst the realms of Amaltheon, even materialising herself in the middle of a large gathering of the Church of Dawn, though to this day, her efforts have fallen on deaf ears.
