Cimthir, of Raging Storms
The story of Cimthir's ascension to divinity is unlike any other to ascend thus far, as she was not known to be a Wanderer or Native Soul by the people of Amaltheon's understanding. Not much is known about the Storm Giants of Amaltheon, not even where they live, with many assuming they live in the unknown lands to the east. It is clear, though, that the Giants do not care for their smaller counterparts in the West. It was here that Cimthir would make this known.
Forked lightning struck across the sky, as the winds grew harder and faster. A new god ascends, her voice booming through the clouds, and with her divine favour granted, the realm of Uvaren Krig was founded in the lower realms, Cimthir took her rage and might and cast it down on any soul unfortunate enough to have not sought shelter. For days, the storm to end all storms raged on, flooding the land and leading to the deaths of many innocents, until an unlikely hero stepped out and braced the storm head on.
Cimthir's story aligns with that of Kavir, the Stalwart, as she would come to be known. During the storm that claimed the land for days, one brave woman stepped out into the storm clad head to toe in metal armour, challenging the storm to strike her where she stood, and try as Cimthir might, the god could not strike the woman down, as she shrugged off blow after blow. Cimthir's rage took the better of her as she summoned Kavir to her realm, and as her attention shifted to killing this annoyance with her own weapons, the lighting and storm paused, and eventually stopped, with only the crashes of metal on metal rang out across the sky. The outcome of this first fight is unknown, but whatever happened, Kavir was granted divinity of her own, and the two still engage in battles to this day. Whenever Cimthir brings a storm down on the people of Amaltheon, the blows of Cimthir's weapons and the lighting crashing upon Kavir's shield ring out with each lightning streak across the sky.
