Enxa, of Darkened Veil
The most recent of the gods to ascend to the Lower Realms is Enxa, of Darkened Veil, once a goblin assassin from across the sea in the unknown eastern lands. Her story is known mainly through the followers of many attempted gods who were struck down by this stalking assassin, who sought the position for herself. Many of those who were struck down by Enxa have been lost to history or reduced to cautionary tales for the children of the lands in the west, but Enxa's story was only empowered by all of these others. Once Enxa had struck down enough of those attempted gods, she gathered all of their research, items, and plans and merely undertook all of their journeys until one worked.
It is not known whose journey it was she succeeded upon, but Enxa ascended and was met by the Duke of Death, where she was granted her divine favour. Enxa's story is hotly debated here, as many who pray to the upper realms claim her domain, The Shadow's Refuge, is a place where criminals can act out on their worst desires, but texts that depict this event often translate closer to a safe place for those who need it, more of a place for the vulnerable to hide. Though no one can be sure of how this domain truly works without being allowed access, many believe that Enxa blesses desperate people with the ability to hide from authority and those who seek to hurt them, allowing those who need to go unnoticed the ability to be forgotten, even if just for brief moments of time.
