Kavir, the Stalwart
The story of Kavir, the Stalwart's, ascension to divinity is legendary to all Wanderer and Native Souls of Amaltheon, as many lived through the exact event in which Kavir is thought to have earned her place as a god. Before the ascension of Cimthir, of Raging Storms, a woman known as Kavir worked a simple guard shift in the town of Firstport. Kavir was not seen as anything special, nor did she see herself as such, until one day fate would force her into the role of a hero.
When Cimthir. of Raging Storm, ascended to divinity, she brought down a terrible storm upon the world that lasted for days, and led to the destruction of a lot of farmland and town houses, and even led to the deaths of a fair few people. After a few days, the people of Amaltheon realised that the gods were not going to intervene on their behalf, and they realised that something had to be done, and here is where Kavir became important. Kavir had observed the lightning's trajectory and saw that it sought out a path to the ground as quickly as possible, and due to having guarded for a fair few artificer folk, she knew that electrical current favours metals, specifically copper. Kavir rushed to a priest of Agnack and requested a large copper shield, with harder metals to keep its strength. With her shield summoned, she clad herself in her guard armour and stepped out to face the storm.
It is here that Kavir faced off against the new god and not only won, but was granted divinity by the Lady of Life for, presumably, her acts of bravery, but none know for sure. Kavir used her divine favour to create the realm of Storm's End, from which she would gather the souls of great warriors who died in battle to assist her fights against the god of the Tempest and her followers. Kavir promises the people of the land, to fight on their behalf against the unending, unrelenting storm of Cimthir.
