The Five Adventurers meet Lumi Smith and Dericka Chardag for the first time.

When walking from the Glimmering Grotto to Dawnbank Town Hall, Juniper, suspecting that Lumi Smith may be an evil wind monster, attempts to seek comfort from Cameo, who attempts to comfort her before belching in her face. The five adventurers are introduced to Lumi, who is more than pleased to see them and interprets their vision as them beginning an adventure to stop Cimthir, of Great Might. They are signed up for the adventuring initiative and introduced to their "liaison", Dericka Chardag. Lumi escorts them to Dericka's new office, and in an attempt to make the very clearly uncomfortable Juniper feel better, she gives them a first job that Juniper would be great at: tracking and killing bears that have been causing issues for the folks of Dawnbank.

This job was handed to the group on behalf of Jessebella Mushpoppet, who has an offer of 40gp for the bears to be killed and their hides, plus a 10% discount at her store, Highly Strung. If the party does not return with the bear pelts, the reward becomes 20gp, but the 10% discount still stands.
