The party confront Bryga at the Lakeside Inn.

Diplomatic action

The party arrives at the Lakeside Inn and immediately splits into two groups. Ruben and Maeralya begin their conversation with a very cocky looking Bryga, and Heothun, Juniper, and Cameo all go to the bar to get some drinks. After a very tense conversation and a lot of misunderstandings, tensions rise as Ruben confronts Bryga with the bloodied drawing of him. This leads to Bryga believing he is being accused of the murder of his friend, whom he identifies as Olivar Haverstock. Tensions become even higher as angered whispers become threatening shouts as Cameo and Heothun step in to try and ease the tension, while Bryga stops short of attacking Maeralya. Cameo shares information as Bryga requests, and Ruben shows the notebook they found on the corpse, leading Bryga to flip through it. Bryga then seems to become even more angry before throwing one of the tables at the wall and smashing it into many pieces before storming out of the Inn. Shortly after this, Ruben realises that the notebook and picture are now missing. After this explosive break of tension, all of the townsfolk leave the Lakeside Inn, leaving only the party and the owners, who are hiding away in the kitchen.
