Maeralya protects Ruben from Wolves.

As Ruben is about to collect a sample of the rare "Frigid Peony" he is ambushed by a wolf, who draws his attention away from it. It is then that Maeralya bursts out of the trees and informs him that he is flanked by three more. Ruben is almost instantly knocked unconscious as Maeralya fights the wolves off, scaring them away with Searing Smites and swift strikes. She then manages to heal Ruben just before he passes on towards the Duke. Ruben thanks Maeralya, and they catch their breath as Ruben successfully performs his ritual on the Frigid Peony, learning the spell Frostbite from it.
