The party return to Dawnbank and are attacked.

Criminal Activity

As they lick their wounds, the party returns to Dawnbank with Nylian and attempts to learn what happened. Arrows in buildings and large patches of blood on the floor indicate that the guards were able to repel the creature somehow, though there has been some damage to local buildings in the conflict. Nylian sees a friend from the Church of Dawn, a priest named Kristoff, and tells the party to go and assist him in recovery efforts as he tries to find friends of his family. Kristoff leads the party to a small alley, where he attempts to rob them, before eventually being slain by Ruben. They check his body and find a hefty coin purse, filled with roughly 100gp of bloodied jewellery. They decide to head to the town hall with Kristoff's body to inform Lumi as to what is happening. They find Lumi giving a speech to Dawnbank and are met by Dericka in the crowd, who shyly asks them to travel in through the back and meet with Lumi.
