While attempting to escape from the dragon's attack on the Lakeside Inn, Maeralya slams a chair aside and freezes, finding herself reliving a memory from a past life. She finds herself running through a mysterious temple towards an opening at the end of the chamber she recently clattered into. As she approaches the opening, she sees a deep drop and water below. She jumps, plunging into the darkness below.
