Heothun goes looking for the body.

After Maeralya and Ruben investigate the cave to find the body, they find evidence that the body was definitely moved into one of the holes at the edge of the water. With the goal of recovering the body, they ask for volunteers to go down the small hole, and Heothun steps up to do so. They tie 150ft of rope together and slowly lower him into the hole under the water, lit by the light cantrip on a stone carried by an unseen servant. Eventually, the stone falls further down, leaving Heothun in the dark, but he continues to delve further under the water in the dark, until the rope goes taut. With the hole going deeper than 150ft, Heothun begins to try and travel back up the hole, only to discover that something tentacle-like is grabbing his leg. The party at the top attempts to pull him out via the rope after sensing a struggle, and after almost a minute of fighting, they eventually pull him back to the top, where they decide to stay, leaving the lost body to whatever appears to have taken it.
