Cameo and Heothun meet with the Council of Firstport

Alfred comes down to meet the trio and tells them that they're good to take their council meeting almost immediately, though "Big Dave" will have to stay out of the way, and he gets some guards to escort Dave to his private chambers. Cameo and Heothun enter the meeting hall with four of the five council members, as Heather Calron is dead, which is still unbeknownst to the others. Two of the council members, Lorgten and Ricrich, seem quite hostile towards the two party members as they begin whispering to one another. Eventually, Heothun informs them of Heather's death and the attack on the main road. The council takes a vote to see who will handle this, with Polly and Alfred voting for Polly, Lorgten voting for himself, and Ricrich abstaining from the vote. Lorgten and Ricrich eventually just leave, with Polly following shortly after, much to the dismay of Alfred. Alfred apologises for his colleagues behaviour before leaving the meeting chamber. Heothun and Cameo meet back up with Big Dave before eventually being escorted to the Hunter's Lodge, an inn in the centre of town. They check in and attempt to get some sleep before their friends arrive.
