Maeralya and Ruben leave for the Glimmering Grotto.

Expedition

Ruben goes to gather his stuff from inside the dorms and is met by Saria Eilnelis, the head teacher of Faer Or. She scolds him for travelling into the forest alone, seemingly having knowledge of what happened without having been there. She talks to Maeralya a little and apologises for Ruben's actions, but upon realising they were acting upon Merellien, of Fixed Memory's visions, her demeanour softens. She tells them that it is not their job to decline the orders of gods, and she orders Ruben to gather his stuff and follow whatever Merellien, of Fixed Memory tells them to do. Ruben rushes to gather his things, and he and Maeralya travel up to Dawnbank, where they stay the night in The Lakeside Inn, ready to visit the Glimmering Grotto on the morning of the 12th of Rainmoot.
