The Party Awake in the Town Hall

After a hectic evening, the party takes some time to relax as they awake, going about their usual morning rituals. Cameo, however, awakes to find a strange mark on the back of the little wooden fiddle they have been carrying and figures it to be a mark from the Duke of Death. With this worrying them quite a bit, they ask Heothun what he knows about the Duke, but they do not share much context beyond that. Heothun then invites Cameo to take part in their morning prayer, which Cameo accepts, allowing their thoughts to travel to the Duke himself. Ruben begins to inspect the scrolls he stole from the Tiller homestead and discovers what each of the scrolls does, being a scroll of Minor Illusion, a scroll of Shield, and a scroll of Invisibility. Additionally, Juniper takes some time to write down her thoughts in her diary, and Maeralya channels her divine magic into her weapon. The party gathers their things and goes to visit Dericka, who informs them that their next job will take them down to Firstport, but it is still in the works, meaning the party has the majority of the day to themselves. Due to this, they decide to go and pay Logan the Light a visit at the Church of Dawn.
